構(gòu)成：

（1）通常在基數(shù)詞后面加上后綴﹣ th 構(gòu)成。

例如：

four（4/四）——fourth（第四）

six(6/六)——sixth（第六）

ten（10/十）— tenth（第十）

hundred（100/一百）——hundredth 等。

（2）twenty , thirty , ninety 等以﹣ ty 結(jié)尾的基數(shù)詞變?yōu)樾驍?shù)詞，是將詞尾的字母-y改為﹣ i ，再加-th。

例如：twenty（20/二十）——twentieth（第二十）

thirty（30/三十）—— thirtieth（第三十）

（3）特殊變化需記憶。

例如：

one(1/一)——first(第一)

two(2/二)——second（第二）

three(3/三)——third(第三)

five（5/五）——fifth （第五）

eight（8/八）——eighth （第八）

nine(9/九）——ninth （第九）

twelve（12/十二）——twelfth （第十二）

twenty（20/二十）——twentieth （第二十）

twenty-one(21)——twenty

– first （第二十一）

twenty-two（22）——

twenty – second （第二十二）

以上是100以上的序數(shù)詞。

第100表示為 one hundredth，第101表示為 one hundred and first )。

序數(shù)詞的使用

序數(shù)詞一般在其前面加定冠詞 the 或物主代詞等限定詞。

例如：

the first time 第一次，

his second son 他的第二個(gè)兒子。

基數(shù)詞變序數(shù)詞口訣

一二三特殊例，結(jié)尾各是t ,d , d；

th 四加起，八減 t ，九去 e ，

“ ve ”要由-f替，five , twelve 是兩兄弟。

整數(shù)基數(shù)變序數(shù)，先把-ty 變-tie ;

若是遇到幾十幾，只變個(gè)位就可以。
